How it all works

Our mission at Dalla Fonte is to curate and deliver the best Italian food and wine specialties so you can recreate Italy wherever you are. Each season, we will surprise you with a hand-selected assortment of Italian specialty foods and wine for you to create your very own Italian table with regional pasta, unique sauces, pantry staples, and sweets; offering you four opportunities a year to enjoy your little piece of Italy.

We offer two unique subscription experiences for your table:

1. Tavola + Vino Create your very own Italian table with regional pasta, unique sauces, pantry staples and dolci. And since an Italian experience is not complete without vino, we also hand-select a perfectly paired wine.
2. Tavola This box contains everything in the Tavola + Vino box…it just comes without the wine. This is perfect for those people who live in a state where shipping wine isn’t possible (yet) or prefer not to imbibe.

What can we expect in each box?

Each season we curate specialty wine and food products from all across Italy to represent the magical experiences we have had during our travels while highlighting local traditions and Italian food culture. Every box will have it’s theme announced at the start of the season and the items are a surprise to members.

How do we pick the products for the seasonal boxes?

Before Dalla Fonte, Mike and I would take pictures and notes of all the things we loved eating during our trips to Italy (which was pretty much everything), and then we would scour grocery stores and international food markets hoping we came across the same things at home.

Now that Dalla Fonte has launched, the process has become much easier. We still take dozens of food and wine pictures, but now we partner with the best Italian food and wine importers to source authentic, specialty goods here in the United States and share all of those goodies with you.

Each item in your box has been hand-selected and sampled by us and our team of taste testers (aka our family and friends). In some cases, these favorites were discovered years ago and in other cases, we were introduced just recently through our newfound Italian foodie connections. Sometimes we fall in love with brands whose productions are too small to go through the expensive process of FDA approval so we use what we know about ingredients and food preparation to find a similar product that will stay true to the experience.

Our number one goal is to transport you to Italy with every bite of food and each sip of wine!

How can I signup for a subscription?

Signup is simple! Just visit our Subscriptions page, select your Italian experience (Tavola + Vino or Tavola), and follow the prompts to create a new customer profile. Need help? Send an email to hello@dallafonte.com and we’ll make sure you’re all set.

Where do you ship?

We can ship our Tavola boxes anywhere in the United States, however, our Tavola + Vino box is limited to Washington, Florida, and Washington D.C. We wish this list were longer (and someday it will be!) but for now, we are limited based on federal regulations for wine retailers and delays in licensing for other states. Stay connected on our mailing list so you are the first to know when your state is added to the wine shipment list.

When do the boxes ship?

Our seasonal boxes will ship to our Club Members the first week of March (Spring Box), June (Summer Box), September (Fall Box), and December (Winter Box). If you are a new Club Member, your first box will be shipped within two weeks of joining. You will be notified via email when your box has shipped and will have tracking information provided by FedEx.
