Poggio alla Guardia, the winery’s third label, is a benchmark wine that showcases its vision. With a bold yet approachable personality, it offers spicy notes while remaining effortlessly drinkable. This wine serves as a perfect introduction to Rocca di Frassinello’s prestigious, age-worthy selections. A blend of 40% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 30% Merlot.
Casa Vecchio’s Italian Grissini
Authentic Italian breadsticks are a must for any dinner table! Casa Vecchio’s Grissini (Breadsticks) Rubata are crafted in the traditional rubata style, giving them a beautifully rustic, uneven shape. Fiori + Salt Jar
A stunning blend of sea salt, wild orange peel, and ten types of edible flowers, this mix adds both beauty and flavor to any dish. Featured Chef

Viola Buitoni

Viola Buitoni, a San Francisco-based chef instructor and food writer, was born in Rome and raised in Perugia, Italy, bringing with her stories and knowledge from six generations of Italian cooking. Her recipes blend the best of local agriculture with Italy’s artisanal food traditions. Italy by Ingredient is her first cookbook.

Viola teaches modern Italian home cooking classes virtually through Milk Street Cooking School and in-person at 18Reasons and The Civic Kitchen in San Francisco. In addition, she leads immersive culinary tours through off-the-beaten-path regions of Italy in the spring and fall. In recognition of her contributions to Italian food culture, she was awarded the title of Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia by the President of the Italian Republic in 2020.
