Bebe Carminito is a San Francisco-based food stylist, cookbook author, and creative curator whose love for globally inspired flavors took root during quiet, reflective Fridays at home during the pandemic. What began as a personal ritual of building beautiful cheese and charcuterie boards evolved into The Curated Board—a celebration of gathering, storytelling, and savoring life’s small joys. Drawing from her multicultural surroundings, extensive travels, and a deep love for community, Bebe’s culinary perspective weaves together diverse cuisines with ease and heart. Her book features themed menus, whimsical cocktails, and approachable recipes co-created with fellow Bay Area tastemakers, reminding readers that joy can be found in both homemade and thoughtfully sourced ingredients.  True Italian cooking is a conversation—a dialogue between ingredients, history, and the stories passed down through generations. That spirit is what we celebrate with Viola Buitoni, a San Francisco–based chef instructor and food writer born in Rome and raised in Perugia, whose culinary wisdom spans six generations. After launching a fine-foods shop in New York and teaching at institutions like the SF Italian Cultural Institute, Milk Street, and The Civic Kitchen, Viola has devoted herself to helping home cooks bring the heart of Italian tradition into their kitchens. Her debut cookbook, Italy by Ingredient, invites us to cook with simplicity, respect for each staple, and deep-rooted cultural insight. Deborah Dal Fovo is a chef, educator, and passionate advocate of Italian culture, whose life’s work has been shaped by a deep connection to Italy’s culinary traditions. With decades spent living in Milan and Tuscany, she immersed herself in regional foodways—learning directly from master chefs, winemakers, artisans, and home cooks across the country. Her formal training includes classic French technique under the legendary Chef Roger Vergé, but it’s the honest, soulful cooking of Italy that continues to inspire her. Now based in Northern California, Deborah shares her knowledge through intimate cooking classes, private chef experiences, and media appearances that celebrate the richness of Italian life. As a dual citizen and dedicated tastemaker, she brings authenticity, warmth, and storytelling to every dish.
